Elaine Berkun's passion for landscapes came from a childhood of spending countless hours exploring the fields and woods. During 20 years of her later adulthood when she was bedridden with a difficult illness, she celebrated her lifelong love of nature by capturing the changing beauties of the seasonal landscapes outside her bedroom window. This gallery is a posthumous honor of her life and courage, and it is a great joy for her daughter, Jennifer, and husband, Howard, to be able to share Elaine's work in this way. (See Elaine's bio)
